I agree whole-heartedly: all of November should be a time for giving thanks. For that matter, April, and March, and September are good times for thanksgiving, too. It can be hard, sometimes, but part of the beauty of gratitude is that when we can find even the tiniest bit in our heart, it begins to transform us into truly grateful people.
Beautifully penned, Michele!!! I applaud you! Returning from a hike in a forest today it was the silence that pulled me. Though I miss the birds the silence as well heals. Thank you! 💖
Silence is a rare commodity and I think so very valuable. Thank you so much Amy Rose-I know you treat every day like it is a time to be thankful. love Michele
Ooohhh, you clever girl! What a wondrous wordsmith you are!! The poem is beautiful and so inviting. It draws the reader in and paints pictures with words.

I smile happily when I see you have written a poem. You have a gift for easy rhythm and rhyme that never seems forced or manipulated. And because I have a November birthday and cherish thanksgiving above all holidays, I especially enjoyed this poem. I’ve copied it so I can reread it often.
oh goodness! this thrills me! Happy birthday! may this new year be full of blessings and happiness! I love Thanksgiving too and now I love November more-because of you. love Michele
