What a beautiful poem. We are finally starting Autumn. It was rather hot the last week, which is very unusual for April. Finally today it rained and slightly chilly. I am happy. I am also be able to read your blog
I love autumn when the dreadful heat passes. I hope yours is beautiful. I am happy when you read the rabbitpatch too and look forward to your posts! thank you love Michele
you say the nicest things-thank you. you may not realise it, but you were one of my greatest sources of encouragement in the beginning-and have remained so. love Michele
What a lovely poem! Sounds like you are truly enjoying Spring. No violets, crocus, tulips, etc. here yet … although I did hear my first killdeer yesterday!
thank you. Today it has been quite chilly but the flowers do not seem to mind. I know you will make the most of your spring when it does come! love Michele
I am so glad Spring has finally arrived for you Michele. It seems we must have one more doozy of a winter blizzard…..I am hopeful this is the last one for this season. I am grateful that this snow will not stick around long as the sun does a great job of melting if fast.
The poem was beautiful!
thank you Faye-I have thought of you so much-still sitting by a fire. What a late spring this year! soon you will be writing flowers-hold on to that, while you wait. love Michele
They tell us we need to get past one more snow storm tomorrow and then we are supposed to have 60 degree temps on the weekend!!! Woo Hoo for 60 degrees!
What say you today, my little chipping sparrow?
Gone are the winter winds that chill to the marrow.
Do you take vigor from spring’s rebirth,
As blossoms and sunshine caress the Earth?
A lovely poem Michele! I would have liked to re-blog it in my blog, but I don’t see the option to share it through WordPress, maybe I’m missing it somehow. I would love to feature your poem in my blog though. You are very talented! Amira 🙂
What a lovely celebration of Spring! I think we should pat ourselves on the back for having patience this year. Happy Spring!
