I laughed that Lyla moved your bags back into the guest room. Somewhere I have a picture of my son sitting on the clothes in an open suitcase as he made his quiet protest to keep Grandma with us longer.

I will look for Redbirds. We have them here, but I don’t see them often.

I have seen cardinals almost daily! They’ve come to my deck where I have some seeds for ground-feeders. Every time I see them, I think of you.
